With COVID cases rising in NC (particularly among young adults) this campaign was targeted to the Young Adult audience. Because of COVID-19, the entire world went virtual for young adults. School. Work. Social lives. Directives around gatherings, designed to slow the spread, were seen as preaching social abstinence. But young adults are wired to be socially active. They feel their lives are buffering, and they long for real connectivity, no matter the cost. We let them know there are ways to safely engage in social activity. Don’t let your social appetite put you at risk of contracting a socially transmitted disease like COVID-19.
